The accurate placement of dermal fillers in the upper eyelids yields truly impactful, beauty-enhancing and age-defying results.

Never possible to overlook, the eyes are the first thing we notice when we meet someone, so it naturally means a great deal to keep our own appearing as appealing as possible.

Our genetics, or time itself, so obviously let us down here, revealing themselves in the form of shadows, folds, crepey skin or hollowness so that even our brows seem to be drooping and sad-looking.

But, in practised hands, this highly-specialised treatment can gently restore full and youthful volume, giving the effect of subtly-lifted brows, improved framing of the eyes and an altogether fresher look.

Before and after upper eyelid filler treatment by Dr Joshua Van der Aa

“Contours are corrected and symmetry improved. But I find it’s the way the gently restored volume reflects the light that makes this exacting treatment so refreshing”

Where there’s asymmetry or A-frame deformity, this can be made less visible. And, in cases where the eyes finish up overly recessed post-blepharoplasty, this upper-eyelid filler treatment can delicately contour the shape back into balance.

Dr Joshua is a specialist in non-surgical eye rejuvenation techniques and one of the most sought-after practitioners in the field for his excellence in the precise and highly-skilled upper-eyelid filler procedure.

Is upper eyelid filler safe?
A soft hyaluronic acid filler is carefully administered through a blunt-tipped microcannula to restore volume to the appropriate fat pads. Anatomical knowledge, choice of instrument and a reversible product combine to make it very safe when you choose an experienced doctor.

How long does the filler last in the upper eyelids?
Results will last approximately 12 to 18 months the first time you have your upper eyelid filler done, and even longer every time after that.

Can this fix my hooded eyes?
In some cases, this treatment can help. But, where there’s excess skin covering most of the eyelid or touching the eyelashes, a surgical blepharoplasty is the best option. A consultation to properly assess the presentation is the best first step.
